Walk with your best friend (furry or human)
To help homeless pets find their best friend.
For many years, luckysmallpawrescue has helped create true social change by bringing pet adoption into the mainstream. Even though we have a 93% success rate, we understand that sometimes a dog just isn’t going to work. We will always take our dogs back and help them find the right home.
Puppy Training
Training your puppy can start by teaching a simple behavior like sitting on command. Right after you ask your puppy to sit, you can use a clicker or voice commands like 'yes' and 'good job' the moment his or her bottom hits the ground. As soon as your puppy sits, bring out a reward, like treats or canned dog food.
Puppy Grooming
Most dogs stay relatively clean and rarely need a bath, but you should brush or comb your dog regularly. Frequent brushing helps keep your dog's coat clean, reduces the amount of shedding and cuts down on the incidence of hairballs.
Puppy Care
Your dog should see the veterinarian at least once a year for an examination and annual shots, and immediately if she is sick or injured. Wipe the corners of the eyes daily with a soft, damp cloth to remove any discharge. Use a separate area of the cloth for each eye so you don’t run the risk of spreading any infection. Check the ears weekly.
Pet Adoption
Your dog will need a litter box, dog litter, food and water bowls, food, scratching posts, safe and stimulating toys, a cushy bed, a brush for grooming, a toothbrush and nail clippers. Cat-proof your home. A new dog will quickly teach you not to leave things lying out.

Happy Faces:
FUN FACTS
Our goal is to provide healthy, smart and beautiful puppies. All our puppies are loved and cared for on a daily basis and are pampered and loved from the day they are born. We do not put any of our puppies in cages or kennels where they cannot move, as we believe this to be cruel and inhumane especially at their tender age. We treat puppies as if they are part of the family and want them to go to homes where they will continue to receive the same unconditional love. We have been blessed with many wonderful litters. If you are interested in adding a puppy to your family, please send me a message.
SCAM ALERT
Please be aware that the online puppy scammers are hard at work attempting to steal your money and sell you a puppy that doesn’t even exist.
I will never sell a puppy without talking to you in person or on the phone. I also do not take payment through a click-to-buy option on my web.
What is a puppy scam?
Puppy scammers post fake litters online or pretend to be someone they’re not (usually an existing breeder) to take advantage of puppy sales (sans the puppies.) This means that if you aren’t careful, you could find the perfect puppy, send the ‘breeder’ your money, and never receive a puppy or any follow-up communication in return.
While many times these fake listings appear on websites like Craigslist, some scammers find ways to position themselves as reputable breeders by stealing personal information from them.
Luckily, it’s easy to know what to look for to ensure your puppy buying experience is both safe and enjoyable.
What are the red flags?
No phone calls. The seller prefers to handle communication by email and not the phone. A reputable breeder will always communicate with you via phone or video chat (if not in person) before selling you a puppy. Fraudulent sellers are oftentimes outside of the U.S. and may be hiding their phone number by only communicating by email.
Copycat or stock photos. Photos of the dog or ad text can be found on multiple websites. Search for the text in the listing to see if the seller copied and pasted it from another site.
Sketchy payment. The seller asks for wiring of money or payment by gift cards. Be aware that if you choose a non-secure method of payment, it is highly unlikely that you will get your money back.
Price is too good to be true. Research the prices for the breed you are considering ahead of time. Well-bred dogs sold at deeply discounted prices are typically frauds.
